Solar/THERMAL

From rooftop surveys and reports to thermal imaging we provide significant cost reductions to our clients and increase work-site safety. Flyby's use of drones decreases the man hours associated with site surveys and are within .2 inches of accuracy. Thermal Imaging provides accurate cell level data of solar panels reducing the time it takes to detect defective panels through IV Curve Tracing.  With over 800 images per MW you can clearly see the issues that need to be addressed, making sifting through pages and pages of data to discover an issue a thing of the past.

Rooftop measurements and inspections

We create measured reports for pre-installation planning and with the use of 3D imagery identify possible obstructions. Drone survey accuracy provides a basis for design that avoids moving panels and adjusting layout during construction. After installation our  inspection services with thermal capabilities help pinpoint where the PV system is losing productivity.  Our reports provide actionable data to create designs and asses potential losses.

Site planning and construction

Our site reports can give actionable intelligence about shading, proximity to generators, and topographic features to help make decisions that will optimize site production.  During construction we provide quality control.  Our reports will show if your project is hitting milestones for easier project management and stakeholder oversight.

Site productivity and maintenance

Through thermal imagery of the PV System we can identify failing cells saving our clients thousands of dollars over the life of the system.   Compared to manual inspections that generally only cover a fraction of a large system, 100% coverage is capable in a fraction of the time with our drones.  Detailed information on malfunctioning modules can be identified at the string, module, or cell level.

Thermal Imaging and Reports

With unparalleled efficiency our thermal images and reports show you the health of your PV System.  Whether newly installed and checking functionality, or a few years old and assessing damages from the elements and time, we are confident that our thermal reports will enhance your systems productivity and your management and operation processes.
